In conjunction with the opening of Biennale Architettura 2021 in Venice, Fondazione Giorgio Cini and Forma Edizioni present EST. Storie italiane di viaggi, città e architetture curated by Luca Molinari Studio.
This exhibition, held in the Sala Carnelutti on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, features six Italian and internationally renowned architectural design firms: RPBW – Renzo Piano Building Workshop, AMDL CIRCLE, Studio Fuksas, Archea Associati, MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects and Piuarch.
The exhibition is a juxtaposition of drawings, photos, writings and memoirs.
Our point of view is to look towards the East from an Italian perspective.
The narrative path unwinds through the time, unveiling the relationship between the historical materials from the Fondazione Giorgio Cini’s archives and the contemporary projects in Albania, Georgia, Russia, China and Vietnam.
