In cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism, Triennale Design Museum has organized the Italian Design World Day to promote international cooperation and the excellence of the Italian Design system made by designers, schools, craftsmen, arts, design brands and producers. This culture, grown by the generation of the Masters has been able to renovate itself by applying always new processing, strategies, materials and technologies.
100 conferences curated by “ambassadors” of Italian design have been held in as much cities around the world on 2 march 2017.
Luca Molinari joins the marathon as “ambassador” in Baku, Azerbaijan. His contribution titled, “Contemporary Classic: innovation and tradition of Italian design” has been presented at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction in cooperation with the Italian Embassy of Italy.
